I am the grandmother of 12 fantastic grandchildren and have one great grandson. Takes me back to 1958 or 9ish to an afternoon after school with two girlfriends playing that record over and over. Amazing what music does to the memory.
I can't wait for Twilight time! ;)
When my parents listened to the Platters on the old stereo or on the 8 track tape player, I HATED IT!! I never enjoyed listening to them. But now, I love it. It takes me back to a happy time in my life. I will always associate the Platters with mom.
Maybe I should pass it on to another generation: The Twilight song is perfect for a 16 year old girl obsessing about that movie that opens this week.
