Yes, I live in Canada and I love living here, but I am an American and in honor of the 4th of July decided to do a giveaway. I mentioned it on my previous post and the prizes are listed there.

Now, we all know, I can say NO GOOGLING ALLOWED, but... I'll take all the names of those who comment and in honor of Kyle's graduation, I'll have my little Canadian draw a name out of a hat. BTW, since this was in honor of him, I'll have him draw it out of his cap from graduation.

Next up--my post about trek. I won't tell you how many ticks I have pulled off of me!!!!! This giveaway will close next Saturday, July 11. However, I'll probably do my post about trek the beginning of next week.

I only know #9. Vancouver! And that's only because I have a friend that lives there. You're "No Googling" rule is no fair. How else am I supposed to look extra smart?

Most of Canada switches to daylight savings time with the exception of the province of Saskatchewan. Newfoundland standard time is only ½ hour difference than Atlantic Standard Time. The running joke is that the world will end at 6:00 pm, 6:30 in Newfoundland. Another interesting fact is that Universal Standard Time was invented by a Canadian.
