I AM VERY GRATEFUL

This is not exactly how I ever envisioned my 25th wedding anniversary. Allan went in today for his angiogram--but it turned out he needed to have an angioplasty, since one of his arteries was blocked. So, needless to say, no trip to China. I have to admit today is the first day I have really sat here and cried. I am filled with emotions, but most of all, I'm just grateful he is o.k. He will have to stay in the hospital overnight. (I really don't think we've ever spent an anniversary apart.

I know there will be other trips. I will now go and have a piece of chocolate. I haven't been able to bring myself to have one with everything that happened last week, but I'm now ready to have one or two, or maybe even more!!!

We're all grateful he is okay. China will still be there later. And you eat as much chocolate as will help you feel better.

Oh sweetie, what a roller coaster you guys have been on. I'm so glad that he's doing well and I'm sorry about the trip. I'm sure it will happen someday.

Now you go and enjoy that chocolate and have a good cry. You deserve it.

I'm so glad he is OK. Hope China is still in your future. Sorry for your pain.

I do believe you should have an extreme chocolate moment, not just a candy bar! Like a Mousse, or a decadent truffle that makes your eyes cross. I'm just saying:D

Make some of those ooey gooey brownies. China will just have to wait for your grand appearance.

Oh, Yvonne! I'm so glad that Allan is okay and has been cared for properly by his doctors.

On the sad side...I am SOOO sorry you found yourself alone on your 25th Anniversary! I hope you two can do something special together once he's recovered from the procedure and is feeling good.

I'm also very sad for you that your trip to China had to be cancelled again! When I read your post, I said, "OH NOOO!" right out loud. Truly a rollercoaster of emotions in such a short time frame. Chocolate is definitely a must. I hope you had a scrumptious stash of it on hand, all ready to be devoured! Here's a big hug for you. (((YVONNE)))

Sweets, I am so sorry but I think the biggest gift for your anniversary is that he is OK. My hubs went in for heart surgery a couple of years ao and it has made all the difference!

Oh Yvonne, I'm so sad that you are having to deal with this stress, and especially on your anniversary. I wish I could give you a hug in real life, but this will have to suffice. ***hugs*** I'm glad that your hubby is being taken care of and hopefully you'll be able to be together soon!
